Archimedes cylindrical ceramic worm ZA has a low transmission efficiency (about 0.5-0.8, 0.4-0.45 when self-locking), and its tooth surface is easy to wear. It is generally used for transmission with fewer heads, less load, lower rotation speed or less important.Involute ceramic worm ZI has high efficiency and is generally used for transmission with more heads, higher speed and more precise requirements.ZN normal straight profile ceramic worm is often used as multi-head precise ceramic worm drive for machine tools. ZK is a conical surface enveloping cylindrical ceramic worm.ZC is easy to be machined and grinded, and can obtain high precision. ZC has high precision and high efficiency (0.65-0.95), and its bearing capacity is 1.5-2 times that of ordinary cylindrical ceramic worm.
